The goal of Teligent's Technology Scholars program is to help students learn more about the burgeoning telecommunications industry and potential careers in it, as well as to increase the number of well-educated high-technology workers. In addition to the scholarships, selected students will have paid summer internships with technology mentors at Teligent offices, and a portion of their internship time will be spent with businesses housed in the new Contra Costa/Tri Valley Telecommunication Incubator in San Ramon.
