             Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m.

Members of the press invited to attend.

BACKGROUND: The ceremony commemorates Telephonics important
contribution to delivery of the 100th C-17 Globemaster
III aircraft to the United States Air Force. As a major
supplier of the C-17 program, Telephonics plays a vital
role in this program by supplying its Integrated Radio
Management System (IRMS) for the aircraft. Telephonics'
IRMS system provides a suite of intercommunication and
radio management equipment that provide aircrew
intercommunication along with full radio management and
             control for the Boeing C-17.

This milestone represents the strong relationship between
Telephonics and Boeing and marks only the beginning of
             long-term success for the Boeing/Telephonics C-17 team.
The C-17 program has the potential to grow to over 200
aircraft and Telephonics has already begun future
             modernization efforts.
