The city was named after an excavated pueblo that is included in the nearby Casa Grande National Monument (see National Parks and Monuments, table)., then Tucson and on to El Paso.

Graybill averages about 7 mph while golfing and will be escorted by the local fire and police departments.

The goal of Golf Across the USA is to raise $50 million for the following charities: International Association of Fire Fighters Burn Foundation; Ronald McDonald House Charities; American Heart Association (Pediatric Heart Research); The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Golf Across the USA Foundation Discretionary Fund; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; Socially at Risk Children's Programs; United Cerebral Palsy Foundation; and Alzheimer's Treatment and Research.
