Biography of Vincent Kadar, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder, Taral Networks

Vincent Kadar has over 12 years experience in engineering, product management, and new business development in the telecommunications and Internet industries. Prior to co-founding Taral Networks, Vince served as director of wireless technology at Saraide/InfoSpace Inc. where he was tasked with defining the company's wireless strategy and developing complementary wireless technology components for the carrier market. Before InfoSpace, Vince served as a senior software/systems architect at CrossKeys Systems Corporation, a provider of telecommunications network and service management systems. Prior to joining CrossKeys, he developed solutions based on early object oriented technologies for the Technology Integration Services organization at Andersen Consulting.

Vincent Kadar has several patents filed in the areas of software related to network and element management, as well as wireless data intelligence. In addition, Vince is an active member of two CTIA Wireless Internet Caucus action teams: enterprise and downloadable content.

Vince earned a B.S. with honors in computer science from Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada.

Biography of Dr. Jiwei Wang, Chief Scientist and Co-founder, Taral Networks

Dr. Jiwei Wang brings extensive expertise in the design and implementation of telecommunication systems, distributed computing and wireless Internet to Taral Networks. Jiwei has over 16 years experience in algorithm design, declarative programming and software engineering in the telecommunications field. Prior to co-founding Taral Networks, he served as lead engineer managing the WAP service development team at Saraide/InfoSpace, and deployed the first generation SMS and WAP services in Europe, North/South America and Australia. Before joining InfoSpace, Jiwei was a technical advisor and senior architect on Nortel Networks' Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) ServiceBuilder project, where his responsibility ranged from OAM architecture and telecom interface design to system performance engineering. Dr. Jiwei Wang has been active in industry standards bodies, include WAP Forum and 3GPP. In addition, he worked at Bristol University in England where he designed and implemented the second generation logic language Goedel, which was adopted as the workbench of a multi-year European Esprit Computational Logic project involving over 25 universities and research institutions.

Dr Jiwei Wang is also an active participant in the 3GPP working group for MMS, as well as the CTIA's Wireless Internet Caucus, where he serves on the privacy and security, and billing action teams. He earned a Ph.D. in computer science and an M.Sc. in intelligent knowledge based systems from Essex University in Colchester, UK, and a B.Sc. in software engineering from Nanjing University in Nanjing, China. He is also fluent in Chinese.
