Las Vegas Center's Open House Slated for November 2

Two Nova Southeastern University off-campus service centers will be in the spotlight the next week-and-a-half, as NSU's Tampa site hosts a grand opening celebration this Thursday, October 26, and its Las Vegas site hosts an open house on Thursday, November 2.

The Tampa center kicks off NSU's new facility (located at 9503 Princess Palm Avenue) with its celebration from 5:30-7:30 p.m. NSU's Tampa Service Center relocated a few months ago to a 22,000 square-foot, free-standing building off I-75 in East Tampa. NSU is also leasing 7,000 square feet across the street from this new location. There are 23 classrooms equipped with voice, data, and compressed video capabilities, two computer labs, and 22 offices.

Nova Southeastern University has 11 programs operating in Tampa, including: undergraduate education, Family Center, graduate teacher education program, doctorate in pharmacy, master's in mental health counseling, master's in school guidance and counseling, doctorate in education leadership, doctorate in higher education, bachelor's in professional management, master's in business administration, and master's in speech-language pathology.

NSU's Las Vegas Service Center will have its open house for incoming students from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on November 2. Both master's and educational specialist candidates will meet representatives from the center's 10 specializations, as well as teacher certification, recertification, career change, and doctoral programs. NSU's Las Vegas site offers a wide variety of courses available in graduate and teacher education and leadership, many of which are online. Doctoral degrees in educational leadership are available in a field-based cluster format.
