By integrating the networking features of the Cisco Mobile Access Router and Cisco IOS(R) software into the total solution of the TCS SwiftLink 2300, customers will be able to access data and decision makers regardless of theater of operation and infrastructure availability.

WHAT:

              The integration of the two technologies in the newly
              developed Cisco 3200-enabled SwiftLink 2300 is an
              important step in their widespread adoption by
              government and enterprise customers.

Cisco's 3200 features:

Protocol (IP) services and interoperability with Cisco IOS

software

-- Compact, rugged design that allows integration into mobile,

deployable and other tactical systems

TCS' SwiftLink 2300 kit features:

-- Man-pack terminal, allowing users hands-free carrying

flexibility. The systems vary in configuration, depending on

the user requirements, and can provide connectivity for one to

more than seventy users at the same time in packages that

range in size from 25 to 85 pounds

-- State-of-the-art encryption

-- IP-based data, voice and video, with wireless reach-back

access

-- Rapid access from remote locations to decision makers,

sensitive information and network services

TCS SwiftLink systems were developed for military tactical operations and intelligence personnel, research/exploration scientists and wilderness rescue units, and are currently used by law enforcement and other government agencies as well as commercial companies.
