Who: truth(sm) , the largest anti-tobacco campaign for teens and
the 2002 INFKT truth(sm) Tour make a stop in New Mexico at the
University of New Mexico and the New Mexico State Fair.
What: The Summer 2002 INFKT truth(sm) Tour is an action-packed,
anti-tobacco tour, which runs through September 2002 with
venues in seven major cities: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago,
Atlanta, Kansas City, Seattle, and Denver. The INFKT truth(sm)
Tour is comprised of approximately 70 youth who travel to some
of the summer's hottest teen venues with 13 state-of-the-art
truth(sm) trucks.

Why: The event provides an excellent opportunity for youth to hang
with truth(sm), have some fun and get the low-down on Big
Tobacco.
The bottom line is that truth(sm) gives teens facts about the marketing tactics of the tobacco industry and about tobacco products. Once teens have the facts, they can make their own decisions about tobacco use. The effort is funded by the American Legacy Foundation The American Legacy Foundation (ALF)[1][2][3] is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing teen smoking and encouraging smokers to quit.
