WHAT: Free financial aid workshops for high school students and
parents will be held throughout Los Angeles. Experts will
help families to complete the complicated application forms
necessary to access Cal Grants and most other college
financial aid. The workshops are part of the award-winning
L.A. Free Cash for College Project, a program designed to
expand access to education for L.A. families.
The average college graduate now will make $1 million over
his or her lifetime than someone with just a high school
diploma. College financial aid is available to all
students, regardless of income or immigration status.
