From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the colorful Pearson Digital Learning eBus will be parked in front of Walker-Jones Elementary, allowing educators and students alike to see first-hand the impact technology can have on a student's success in the classroom. The eBus is a school bus and mobile computer lab outfitted out·fit n. 1. A set of tools or equipment for a specialized purpose: a welder's outfit. See Synonyms at equipment. 2. A set of clothing, often with accessories. 3. with 13 computer workstations and Internet Internet Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the satellite connectivity. With a specific emphasis on standards-aligned, research-based curriculum, the eBus highlights programs that use technology to improve student performance including the Waterford Early Reading Program(TM) and Waterford Early Math and Science(TM) courseware Educational software.
