WHAT:   State announces millions in housing bond awards for over 100
        communities across the State. Funds to increase housing supply
        and create jobs.

WHEN:   11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2003

WHERE:  The Folsom/Dore Apartments, 1346 Folsom Street,
        San Francisco, CA

VISUAL OPPORTUNITIES: Construction site. Area housing developers,
State housing officials and construction workers. Project under
construction to create 98 affordable housing units near jobs - "smart
growth."

DIRECTIONS: South of Market Street on 1346 Folsom Street near 10th
Street. Dore Alley runs behind the project. The event will be held on
the alley side where there is sufficient space for off-street parking.
