Kaiser and physician Sidney R. Garfield.
WHAT: More than 950 older Californians die each year from
fall-related injuries. The California Department of Aging has
formed a partnership with Kaiser Permanente and other State
and local agencies to educate older Californians about ways
to prevent falls at home. Together they are introducing the
Kaiser produced video, "No More Falls: A Guide for Older
Adults." The videos will be placed in InfoVans, mobile
resource centers that take valuable information and services
in a variety of languages directly to people in their
communities. The videos will also be available to elderly
Californians, caregivers, and families at local agencies.
