WHO: The StarFabric Trade Association today announced plans to host
a live, multi-vendor StarFabric demonstration at this week's
Bus&Board/2004 Conference in Long Beach, CA. The demonstration
(booths 4 through 10) will illustrate the technology and
versatility of StarFabric/PICMG 2.17 products from a wide
variety of vendors. In addition to the multi-vendor demo, the
StarGen booth (#44) will feature four newly announced systems
that use StarFabric to maximize scope and performance. The
Bus&Board/2004 Conference focuses on VMEbus, CompactPCI, PCI,
PC104, fabrics, motherboards, and mezzanine cards for embedded
applications
WHAT: StarFabric is the leading PCI-compatible, high-performance, low
overhead switching solution available today. To date, hundreds
of thousands of StarFabric ports have been shipped to more than
50 customers worldwide. StarFabric is currently being designed
into a wide range of applications, across various markets.
The demonstration will include participation by Aurora
Technologies with Channel Access, Bustronic, Elma Electronic,
Hybricon, Kaparel, Radstone, StarFabric Trade Association, and
Synergy Microsystems. The demonstration will span booths 4-10.
Additionally, StarGen will feature four StarFabric
applications from BAE Systems, Jupiter Systems, SeaChange
International, and SVA Networks at booth #44, located just
outside the entrance of the Regency Ballroom conference area.
Products that will be shown include StarFabric and PICMG 2.17
based chassis, backplanes, single board computers, switch
cards, PMC modules, adapter cards, development platforms and
software development kits. These products together provide a
wide range of solutions for complete open systems platforms.
WHERE: Presented by VITA, Bus&Board/2004 will take place at the Hyatt
Regency Long Beach, adjacent to the Long Beach Convention
Center, in Long Beach, CA. The StarFabric demonstration will be
held in the Regency Ballroom conference area in booths 4-10 and
at booth #44.
WHEN: The Bus&Board/2004 Conference will take place on Monday,
January 19, and Tuesday, January 20, 2004. A press demo will be
held at booths 4-10 on Monday, January 19th at 5:15pm, shortly
following the last presentation of the day.
