WHO: StarGen's chief technical officer, Todd Comins, will be a
featured presenter in a session entitled, "PCI Express
Advanced Switching," at next week's Bus&Board/2003. Comins'
session will entail a discourse on the complementing features
and compatibility of StarFabric and Advanced Switching. He
also will detail the roadmap for future StarFabric and
Advanced Switching products.
WHAT: StarGen, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company and developer
of the StarFabric switched interconnect solution, was invited
to participate in a session dealing with Advanced Switching.
In 2002, StarGen and the StarFabric Trade Association
announced that StarFabric's key architects were invited by
Intel to help create the incumbent PCI Express Advanced
Switching specification. In addition to Comins' speaking
engagement, StarGen will have further show presence in its
Booth # 11, wherein StarGen plans to demonstrate StarFabric's
applicability in a PICMG 2.17 environment. Additionally,
StarGen will be unveiling its 2003 product plans (including
its 3010 TDM-to-StarFabric Bridge), new applications and
developments, and a reinforced commitment to the
communications and embedded industries.
WHERE: Presented by VITA and PICMG, Bus&Board/2003 will take place
at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, adjacent to the Long Beach
Convention Center, in Long Beach, CA, and is focused on
VMEbus, CompactPCI, PCI, PC104, motherboards, and mezzanine
cards for embedded applications.
WHEN: The conference will take place Monday, January 20, and
