ADVISORY/Spirent Communications to Speak at U.S. IPv6 Summit 2003, A Premier Event for the World IPv6 Community.

Business Editors/High-Tech Writers

ADVISORY...for Wednesday Wednesday: see week.  (Dec. 10)

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

WHO: Spirent Communications, a worldwide provider of integrated
performance analysis and service assurance systems for
             next-generation network technologies. Spirent's solutions
enable the development and deployment of next-generation
networking technology by emulating real-world conditions
in the lab and assuring end-to-end performance of large-
             scale networks.

WHAT: "IPv6: Testing the Transition": Transitional networks, or
those that support both IPv4 and IPv6, will be widespread
for the foreseeable future as we continue to migrate from
legacy to next-generation technologies. As with legacy
networks, testing for these transitional networks is
critical in order to fully understand the functional
and performance characteristics and limitations of the
network for successful deployment of products and
services. Bill Kine, technical marketing manager for
Spirent, will address these issues and more in his
presentation - "IPv6: Testing the Transition."

WHEN: 3:40 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2003

WHERE: U.S. IPv6 Summit 2003, Doubletree Crystal City,
             Arlington, Va.
