SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 2000

Franciscan Health System will be named Bank of America Champion at the Sept. 10 Seattle Seahawks vs. St. Louis Rams game.

Franciscan Health System was selected based on its outstanding growth, as well as its commitment to its employees and the community.

As the Bank of America Champion winner, the president and employees of Franciscan Health System were invited to attend the Seahawks home game on Sept. 10. The business owners and their employees will be treated to great seats in the stadium, and a pre-game VIP tailgate party. Former Seahawks wide receiver Paul Johns will present a custom-made wooden football autographed by Coach Holmgren to company representatives on the field. The presentation will be captured on the stadium Jumbotron during the game.

Franciscan Health System, located in south Puget Sound, includes St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, a nursing home in Tacoma and a network of medical clinics in Pierce and South King County.

NFL teams participating with Bank of America in the Business Champions program are Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks.
