Martin Roesch is a respected authority on intrusion detection
technology and forensics and is responsible for the technical
direction and product development efforts at Sourcefire. He has 14
years of industry experience in network security and embedded systems
engineering. Roesch is also the author and lead developer of the award
winning open source Snort(TM) intrusion detection technology that
forms the foundation for the Sourcefire Intrusion Management System
which includes the recently announced Sourcefire Real-time Network
Awareness(TM) technology that is redefining the intrusion detection
industry.
