WHO:     ''All My Children's'' Greenlee Smythe (Rebecca Budig) leads
         SoapNet team in the Susan G. Komen Foundation Race for the
         Cure.

         Budig joined the cast of "All My Children" in 1999,
         creating the role of beautiful troublemaker Greenlee
         Smythe. A veteran of daytime television, the
         Cincinnati, Ohio, native played the virtuous Michelle
         Bauer on "Guiding Light" for four years prior to
         landing her "AMC" role.

         "All My Children" takes place in fictional Pine
         Valley, Pa., which creator Agnes Nixon based upon
         the social circles of Philadelphia's Main Line
         residents. The series airs daily on ABC with same-day
         repeat airings on SoapNet, ABC Cable Networks Group's
         24-hour soap opera channel.

WHAT:    SoapNet continues its legacy of supporting women's issues by
         bringing soap star Rebecca Budig to Boston to lead the
         network's team in the Susan G. Komen Foundation Race for the
         Cure 2001.  Fans can register online at www.SoapNet.com

         to walking in the race itself, Budig will participate in
         the event's opening and closing ceremonies.  She will also
         be on hand after the race to meet fans, sign autographs and

         for the Cure promotes positive awareness about
         breast cancer in addition to raising funds for
         education, screening and treatment for medically
         under served women. Over the past decade, the race

         expected to draw more than 1 million participants in 2001.
