 Fishing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and dinner will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2004, at 6 p.m. at the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum in Dania Beach, FL. The public is invited to join Masters of Ceremonies Andy Mill Andy Ray Mill (born November 2, 1953 in Aspen, Colorado) is a two-time Olympic downhill skier from the United States.

In 1974, Mill was on the World Championship Downhill Team competing in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
 and Roland Martin Roland Martin can refer to at least two individuals:
  • Roland S. Martin - American journalist, nationally syndicated columnist
  • Roland Martin (fisherman) - host of American fishing show on Outdoor Life Network
 as they honor this year's inductees. Honorees are selected for the important contributions they have made to the sport of fishing through angling achievements, literature, the arts, science, education, invention, communication, or administration of fishery resources. The 2004 inductees will join 50 current Hall of Fame members, including Curt Gowdy Curtis Edward Gowdy (July 31 1919 – February 20 2006) was an American sportscaster, well-known as the longtime "voice" of the Boston Red Sox and for his coverage of many nationally-televised sporting events, primarily for NBC Sports in the 1960s and 1970s. , Ernest Hemingway, Zane Grey, Michael and Helen Lerner, Philip Wylie and Ted Williams.

The 2004 IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame inductees are:

Walter W. Fondren, III

One of the founding members of the Gulf Coast Conservation Association in 1977, Fondren remains chairman of the non-profit Coastal Conservation Association (CCA (1) (Common Cryptographic Architecture) Cryptography software from IBM for MVS and DOS applications.

) which has tens of thousands of members in 15 coastal states and has played a major role in the conservation of U.S. marine fishery sources.

Peter Goadby

Devoted to conservation and ethics in fishing, Goadby was instrumental in the development of the Cairns Cairns, city (1991 pop. 64,463), Queensland, NE Australia, on Trinity Bay. It is a principal sugar port of Australia; lumber and other agricultural products are also exported. The city's proximity to the Great Barrier Reef has made it a tourist center.  giant black marlin fishery and in the introduction of tag-and-release fishing in Australia. A well-known author and lecturer, he was the first to land a shark and a marlin over 1,000 lb.

Frank J. Mather, III
