Networld+Interop 2001

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

Who: Anthony Gallo, director of product marketing for
Silicon Access Networks, a fabless communications
                  integrated circuits company delivering intelligent
                  forwarding plane solutions for high-performance
                  networking equipment, with scalable network
processors and coprocessors from 1- 40Gbit/sec.

What: The Network Processing Summit at Las Vegas
Networld+Interop 2001 has selected Gallo to
participate in two panel discussions: "Exploring the
                  Outer Limits," covering network processing
                  technology and the future of Internet equipment;
and, "What's Happening with Software," focusing on
various programming models and software issues
                  associated with network processing technology.

                    Additionally, Silicon Access Networks will
                  demonstrate its iFlow(R) Programming Environment
(iPE) and Reference Software (iRS) at N+I booth
number 8925. The fundamental building block for the
company's intelligent forwarding plane solution, iPE
enables developers and system architects to write,
test and manipulate various configurations on the
desktop, providing cycle-accurate emulation at the
system level. This gives systems architects up to a
six-month head start in their product development
                  cycle.
