ADVISORY/Senior Action Fair to Be Held at Los Angeles Convention Center on May 1; May Is Older American Month.

ADVISORY...for Monday (May 1)

WHAT: Senior Action Fair -- Protect Yourself Against Fraud &
Abuse, a not-to-be-missed opportunity for senior Angelenos
to take action to protect their money, home, health and
quality of life. Community, state and federal organizations
working to prevent and stop elder fraud and abuse will be
providing workshops and exhibit booths to disseminate
information at the fair to educate seniors and their
families and caregivers.
The fair will include free admission, free lunch and a free
raffle. Free transportation will be provided through
designated senior centers.
The fair is presented by the City of Los Angeles Department
of Aging, the County of Los Angeles Area Agency on Aging
and WISE Senior Services.
