WHAT: Several hundred Seafirst/Bank of America volunteers from the Seattle area will step forward to participate in more than a half-dozen local volunteer projects as part of Bank of America's weekend volunteer blitz, a nationwide effort to celebrate the launch of the new coast-to-coast bank.

Today's volunteer blitz signals a strong, ongoing commitment to community service by the new bank, which was created by the merger of Nations Bank and Bank of America
