 franchise. Grants of $10,000 will be awarded to 100 non-profit organizations on Friday in 100 communities that have the strongest need for assistance.

To receive a grant, the selected organizations had to focus on meeting the needs of children and families in low-to-moderate income areas.

Tiny Tots Development Center provides day care as well as before and after school care for 98 children in the Rainier Valley. Breakfast and lunches are provided as well as afternoon snacks. Tiny Tots serves children from economically disadvantaged and single parent families.

WHO: Fred Brown, senior vice president for Seafirst, will make the

$10,000 presentation to the youngsters and to Helen "To Helen" is the first of two poems to carry that name written by Edgar Allan Poe. The 15-line poem was written in honor of Jane Stanard, the mother of a childhood friend. It was first published in 1831 collection Poems of Edgar A.  Hicks Hicks   , Edward 1780-1849.
