WHAT: Suzanne Mattingly, Ph.D., vice president of marketing for
Scimagix(TM) Inc., the pioneer of enterprise image informatics
solutions for pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and
development (R&D), will host a technology workshop during IBC
Proteomics 2002. As part of Track A, "Growing a Proteomics
Company: Successful Business Models and Financing Strategies,"
the Scimagix workshop will focus on new options in the
analysis, mining, and integration of proteomics data which are
coming into use in the pharmaceutical industry.
After 15 years in marketing, Mattingly joined Scimagix from
Camitro Corporation, another startup. She has helped create
three new spaces (in both pharmaceuticals and informatics) and
been responsible for the launch of over 40 new products.
Mattingly was previously vice president of marketing and
corporate communications for Oxford Molecular and has held
marketing positions with SRA Technologies, Dialog Corporation,
Syntex/Roche, Baxter and Syva.
