EVENT: In a day-long symposium hosted by The Henry Samueli School
of Engineering, visionaries and industry leaders will
discuss business sectors essential to California's -- and
the nation's -- future prosperity: energy, aerospace,
medical and information technology. Speakers will also
address the increasing importance of outsourcing and
globalization to the state's economy.
The keynote lecture, scheduled for 8:50 a.m., will be given
by John H. Marburger, III, director of the U.S. Office of
Science and Technology Policy and science adviser to
President George W. Bush.
