What:   Bring Your MOM to Work Day(SM) 2003

        For a second year, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM(R) has joined forces with
        Miss USA(R) for this national awareness and fundraising
        initiative to benefit The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Inc.
        (OCRF), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing
        research, raising awareness, and finding a cure for ovarian
        cancer. Companies and organizations across the country are
        encouraged to participate in this exciting event.

Why:    To raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research,
        while saying thanks to employees' moms and mother figures for
        their love and support.

The Miss USA pageant is a beauty contest that has been held every year since 1952, with winners competing in the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Organization operates both pageants, as well as Miss Teen USA.

One current example is the "PostScript Language Tutorial and Cookbook" by Adobe Systems, Inc (Addison-Wesley, ISBN
 filled with favorite recipes from employees' moms or establishing an office photo mural called the "Wall of Moms," featuring a contest to match the mom to the employee. The Bring Your MOM To Work Day 2003 Participation Kit, which includes additional ideas and event details, will be available online and via mail before the end of the year.
