Entertainment Editors & Film/Internet Writers

ADVISORY...for Thursday Thursday: see week. , (March 21)

--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)

WHO: Sara Gilbert, who portrays Dick's love interest, Anaugh, in
Touchstone Pictures' "High Fidelity," is best known for her
role as wisecracking Darlene Conner in the hit series
"Roseanne," which brought her two Emmy nominations during its
nine years on ABC. Gilbert most recently co-starred in Fox
2000's "Light It Up" and had a cameo role in Warner Bros.'
        "The Big Tease."

A graduate of Yale University, Gilbert made her directorial
debut with the critically acclaimed short film "Persona Non
Grata," executive-produced by The Shooting Gallery and
selected for competition at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival.

A versatile film, television and stage actor, Gilbert has also
appeared in the feature films "Desert Blue" and "Poison Ivy"
and the made-for-cable movie "Sudie and Simpson." Gilbert
recently starred in the CBS pilot "The Next Big Thing," in
which she portrays a young writer who joins the staff of a
        late-night comedy-variety show.

WHAT: To celebrate the forthcoming release of Touchstone Pictures'
"High Fidelity," www.highfidelity.movies.com hosts a special
online chat with the film's co-star Sara Gilbert.

In this biting romantic comedy based on the popular Nick
Hornby novel, Rob Gordon (John Cusack) owns a semi-failing
record store in Chicago where he sells music the old fashioned
way -- on vinyl. A self-professed music junkie, he spends his
days at Championship Vinyl with his two employees, Dick (Todd
Louiso) and Barry (Jack Black). His encyclopedic knowledge of
pop music is of no help to Rob, whose needle skips the love
groove when his longtime girlfriend, Laura (Iben Hjejle),
walks out on him. As he examines his failed attempts at
romance and happiness, the process finds him being dragged
        kicking and screaming into adulthood.
