Students at Santa Clara University are taking a stand against the crisis facing refugees around the world. During the week of Oct. 16 through 20, an exact replica Earlier document exchange software from Farallon Communications, Inc. that converted a Windows or Mac document into a proprietary viewing format. The students will also participate in a 1000-calorie fast, based on the recent decrease in the U.N. rations from 1800 calories daily to 1000 calories daily. The money the students save on food will be donated to organizations involved with feeding the poor. "This project is important because there are refugees suffering all over the world," said Elizabeth Tellman, student coordinator for Santa Clarans for Social Justice. "They need our attention through prayer, fasting, and resources Co including money."
