What: The Santa Clara County Library will honor Infoseek Chairman and

Founder Steve Kirsch for his $200,000 donation to the county

library system. The donation will be used to completely upgrade

the Internet-enabled terminals throughout the Santa Clara

County Library system's 10 community libraries in early 1999.

The donation will be officially presented to the Santa Clara

County Library by Mr. Kirsch kirsch

Santa Clara County Library presently has 10 community libraries serving over 400,000 people in the communities of Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos Los Altos (lôs ăl`tōs, lŏs), residential city (1990 pop. 26,303), Santa Clara co., W Calif.; inc. 1952.
