WHAT: Volunteers from GE's Kansas City businesses will
sponsor a Christmas party for the All Star Community
Outreach. Each child will be able to sit on Santa's
lap, have their face painted, play games and make arts
and crafts. Santa will also give the kids teddy bears.
(Santa is a retired employee of GE ERC.)
This is the third Christmas party GE has sponsored at
the center. About 85 kids ranging from ages two to 12
are expected to attend with their families.

BACKGROUND: The All Star Community Outreach is a non-profit
organization providing services for children of all
backgrounds in the Kansas City area. Each week, they
serve approximately 200 families meals. They
distribute clothing year round, provide after-school
tutoring and have a library for kids.
