What: A new, outdoor wireless network-based video surveillance system for the San Mateo County, California San Mateo County is a county located in the San Francisco Bay Area of the U.S. state of California. It covers most of the San Francisco Peninsula just south of San Francisco, near San Francisco State University, and north of Santa Clara County.  Sheriff's Department goes live on Wednesday, May 26th in preparation for the Scott Peterson

Scott Lee Peterson (born 24 October, 1972) is a former fertilizer salesman convicted of the murder of his wife Laci and unborn son Conner Peterson.

The Wi-Fi security system is the result of a team effort led by locally-based, San Mateo San Mateo (săn mətā`ō), city (1990 pop. 85,486), San Mateo co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1894. It is a commercial and retail center with some high-technology manufacturing. San Mateo, Spanish for St.  company, Tropos Networks to provide real-time video surveillance and recording so that the Sheriff's Department can enhance security by better monitoring the public areas of the San Mateo County Center for the duration of the trial.

Where: Foyer outside of the Board of Supervisors chamber, 400 County Center Drive, Redwood City Redwood City, city (1990 pop. 66,072), seat of San Mateo co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1868. Manufactures include commmunications, electrical, electronic, and medical equipment.
