What: Malik Rose and Bruce Bowen of the second-time NBA
champion San Antonio Spurs will appear live at Best Buy
to celebrate Midnight Madness with the release of NBA
Championship 2003.
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the New Jersey Nets 88-77
in Game 6 to become the 2003 NBA Champions. This is the
Spurs second championship in five years.
Rose, a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia,
began his NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs in 1997.
The 2001-2002 season was the best of his six-year NBA
career, where he appeared in all 82 games.
Bowen more recently began his NBA career with the Spurs
in 2001 after graduating from California State
University, Fullerton. He was named to the All-
Defensive Second Team in 2000-01 and 2001-02.
NBA Championship 2003, available only on DVD, features
