WHAT:       The Salvation Army's National Advisory Organizations
            Conference (NAOC), a convention held once every four
            years, is coming to Philadelphia and is bringing with it
            nearly 2,000 Salvation Army officers, volunteers and
            advisory board members from across the country.

WHEN:       Thursday, April 24th through Sunday, April 27th

WHERE:      Pennsylvania Convention Center
            12th and Arch Streets
            Philadelphia, PA

WHO:        Mayor John Street, Breakfast Address, 4/25, 8:30 a.m.

            Dr. Phil McGraw, Keynote Speaker, 4/25, 9:00 a.m.

            Governor Ed Rendell, Luncheon Address, 4/25, 12:15 p.m.

            Gen. John Larsson, Salvation Army International Leader,
            Dinner Address, 4/25, 6:00 p.m.

            Commissioner W. Todd Bassett, Sal. Army Ntnl. Commander,
            Dinner Address, 4/26, 6:00 p.m.

DETAILS:    Salvation Army officers, volunteers and advisory board
            members from divisions across the country will come
            together to attend workshops on a variety of topics
            including program services, advisory board management and
            management.  In addition, local divisions will share "best
            practices" with colleagues in an effort to generate new
            ideas to support fundraising and social service programs

            The local division of the Salvation Army - Eastern
            Pennsylvania and Delaware - is hosting the event.
