WHAT: The NASA astronauts who flew the space Endeavour in December to the
International Space Station, and deployed the first of four pairs of massive
solar arrays, will come to Bldg. 107 at Lockheed Martin Space Systems in
Sunnyvale. They will recount their mission and thank the team of engineers and
technicians who designed and built the solar arrays. WHO: The STS-97 astronaut
crew, and engineers and technicians from Lockheed Martin Space Systems, will be
on hand to talk to reporters following the presentation. WHEN: 1:10 pm.
Tuesday, January 16, 2001 WHERE: Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Bldg. 107, in
Sunnyvale. Accredited media should gather at the lobby for badging. DIRECTIONS:

From the north: South on US-101. Bear right on CA-237, Mountain View-Alviso Fwy, heading east, toward the bay & Alviso. Exit on ramp at sign reading "Mathilda Ave to San Francisco and US-101 N" and go East for 0.2 miles. Turn left on Mathilda Ave and go North under Hwy 237 to the second light at Moffett Park Drive. Turn left on Moffett Park Drive. Continue to the H Street entrance to Lockheed Martin Space Systems (you'll see sign on right across light rail tracks). Turn right on H Street. Proceed to first light and turn right.

Bldg. 107 is on your right. Proceed ahead to first driveway. Turn right and park in front of building. Proceed to Lobby.

From the south: Take Northbound 101 to Mathilda Avenue off. Go North under Hwy 237 to the second light at Moffett Park Drive. Turn left on Moffett Park Drive. Continue to H Street entrance to Lockheed Martin Space Systems (you'll see sign on right across light rail tracks). Turn right on H Street. Proceed to first light and turn right.

Bldg. 107 is on your right. Proceed ahead to first driveway. Turn right and park in front of building. Proceed to Lobby.
