, USA-Forte Incorporates 32-Bit ARM

Core-Based Chip to Deliver Unprecedented On-Card Processing Power

WHO: SSP Solutions, Inc. -- (Nasdaq:SSPX), provider of
solutions and services for strong authentication, secure
transactions and the protection, distribution and
monetization of digital content over the Internet and
            networks.

WHAT: USA-Forte(R) is the industry's fastest and most powerful
smart card solution. USA-Forte is powered by a high
performance IC known by its Atmel designation,
AT91SC321RC, the only chip of its kind manufactured in the
U.S. This circuit is the only 32-bit ARM core-based chip
capable of streaming encryption bandwidths up to 2 Mbytes
per second in smart card applications.

Designed from the ground up to meet the real-world
security requirements of Internet and e-commerce based
organizations, USA-Forte is specifically engineered to
provide expanded storage and accelerated processing of
            cryptographic functions, offering users significantly
greater security and performance than current smart card
solutions. It uses an on-chip DES (data encryption
standard) accelerator, and a high-speed USB I/O interface
to support increased storage and fast on-card
            cryptographic processing.
