ADVISORY/SEC Town Meeting to Address Capital Formation Issues.


--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 1998--

The Securities and Exchange Commission is holding a small business town meeting on issues involved in raising capital from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998 at the Sheraton Cleveland City Centre Hotel at 777 St. Clair Ave.

The meeting will address capital formation issues, an area of particular interest to companies considering going public through an initial public offering.

Featured speaker will be Brian J. Lane, director of the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance and the leading expert in capital formation. Lane will address "Raising Capital under Federal Securities Law."

Additional speakers will include:
