EVENT: The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will present
disaster loan checks to local small businesses who sustained
losses from the September 11th tragedy. SBA Administrator Hector
V. Barreto will be joined by Governor George E. Pataki and
JPMorgan Chase CEO, William B. Harrison, Jr. Also invited to
attend the event were Mayor Rudolph W. Guiliani, Senator Clinton,
Senator Schumer, and all New York City district congressional
members.

WHY: The US. Small Business Administration Federal Disaster Loan
Program is providing relief to local businesses, nonprofit
organizations, homeowners and renters affected by the disaster.

the assistance provided by this program will accelerate a healthy
recovery for the New York business community. As a long-time
