WHAT: The creative team and the Las Vegas cast of the smash London
stage show "We Will Rock You" will be on hand Wednesday,
June 23 at 11 a.m. PDT to announce details of the Las Vegas
production set to open in August at Paris Las Vegas.
True to the rock spectacle for which Queen is renowned, the
press event will feature visually exciting rock concert
theatrics. The event will be held in the Paris Theatre des
Arts, which is currently under construction in preparation
for the lavish musical. The press conference is open to
members of the media as well as the first 1,000 members of
the public. There is no admission charge for this event, and
there will be NO autograph signing following the press
conference.
"We Will Rock You," features 20 of Queen's greatest hits
performed in a rock theatrical stage show. The show debuted
in London in 2002, where it continues to play to sold-out
crowds and is a hit in Australia and Spain, where the show
also recently opened. The Las Vegas production is the North
American premiere of "We Will Rock You" and is presented in
association with Tribeca Theatrical Productions co-founders
Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, Queen guitarist Brian May
and drummer Roger Taylor and Phil McIntyre Entertainment.
