Harold Decker, interim president and chief executive officer of the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross. , will speak at the 2002 Annual Forum of the Charities Review Council of Minnesota. His topic will be, "Some Straight Talk About Non-Profit Accountability."


      Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 20, with Decker
        speaking at about 12:45 p.m., following a buffet lunch for
        attendees of the event, which is open to the public. (Tickets
        are $40.00). Decker's remarks of about 20 minutes will be
        followed by a question-answer period. He will be available for
        follow-up media questions.

      Date: Thursday, June 20.

      Place: Ballroom at the University Club, 340 Cedar Ave., St. Paul.

      Topic: Decker, who has led the Red Cross since shortly after the
        Sept. 11 terror attacks, will talk about what the Red Cross
        did right, what it did wrong, and what it learned.
