RadioLAN was founded in 1993 to design and market low-cost wireless LANs that operate at full Ethernet speed (10 Mbps) and interoperate with existing 10BaseT networks. RadioLAN products are available directly from the company and through distributors, value-added resellers (VARs) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  partners.
