Business Editors

ADVISORY...for Thurs. - Wed. (Feb. 12-18)

Toy Fair 2004

--(BUSINESS WIRE)

Radica Radica may refer to:
  • Radica Broadcast Systems Ltd
  • Radica Games
:

WHO: Radica Games Ltd., a leading developer, manufacturer and
distributor of electronic entertainment products.

WHERE: February 12-18 at the International Toy Center, 200 Fifth
Avenue, Suite 736 (7th Floor)

RADICA(R)

20Q(TM): Can you fool 20Q? Radica adds a new twist and innovation
to the classic play of 20 Questions and captures it in a handheld. To
play, think of something...anything...then answer a series of 20
questions. The all-knowing 20Q has "artificial intelligence" that is
used to read your mind! 20Q's personality shines, offering taunting
commentary as you play, such as "Does your mom know you think like
that?" or "I'm thinking you can do better!" The mystical blue sphere
will ask a range of silly and bizarre questions. If 20Q reads your
mind within 20 questions, it wins. If not, you win!

TWINKLEBERRIES(TM)

Radica adds an innovative application of technology to the tried
and true play pattern of "playing school" and introduces
Twinkleberries(TM), a new line of interactive dolls that actually
responds to young children. Twinkleberries is the first interactive
doll line that offers a realistic simulation of school as the doll
actually responds to the child that's playing teacher.

NITRO BATTLERZ(TM)

Build 'em, race 'em, crash 'em! Radica enters the R/C category for
the first time and introduces Nitro Battlerz. Kids assemble and
customize their cars, add their favorite decals to race and crash
opponents in the "dome" track. The controller's nitro button gives the
driver a huge burst of speed to help boot opponents over the edge!

OFF LIMITS(TM)

Based on the success of its innovative, voice recognition
technology gadgets used in its Girl Tech electronics, Radica
introduces Off Limits. The line features Voice Mega Vault and Track 'n
Blast Room Defender - cool toys for boys that allow them to experience
a feeling of control, while keeping their stuff "off limits" to their
siblings!

PLAY TV(R)

The tremendously successful Play TV line offers three great new
games for 2004. Are you ready for some football? Play TV EA Madden
Football features John Madden with his trademarked "Madden-isms." No
snow? No problem! Play TV EA SSX Snowboarder has realistic
snowboarding graphics and game play. Rumble in the arena! Play TV
Monster Truck features sights, sounds and rumbling action of a real
monster truck event.

GIRL TECH(R)

FRIENDCHIPS(TM): Written notes are so passe! Introducing
Friendchips, the electronic notes that use instant messaging. Girls
can send secret electronic notes using a chip and reader unit to
instantly text message friends. It comes with two reader units and
four chips, which can be used over and over again. It's password
protected for added security!

BARBIE(TM)

BALANCE BEAM(TM): Girls can score a perfect 10 with Barbie Balance
Beam and "Go for the Gold" with this new, interactive electronic
Barbie Balance Beam game! Now girls can be "Olympic" gymnasts with
four awesome games, including Foot Tied, Flower Frenzy, Beam Routine
and Musical Feet. Girls follow the lights and master the beam with
increasing skill levels as Barbie(R) coaches them along. Play solo or
challenge a friend.
