) will hold its annual conference devoted to strategic and critical issues impacting the technology industry and the people who lead communications for the industry's many sectors.
WHERE: The Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers, 1400 Sixth and Pike streets,
Seattle, WA 98101 WHEN: Sunday and Monday, March 3 and 4, 2002 WHO: The
Conference is open to all communication professionals. PRSA members are
especially encouraged to attend and are offered a special rate. WHY: The PRSA
Tech Conference is the only national conference dedicated exclusively to
technology communications. DETAILS: Leaders in the industry will present more
than 20 educational seminars and presentations in four tracks. This is the
first year seminars will also cover issues from life sciences and
biotechnology. Workshops ranging from career tools to a biotech boot camp will
be offered, as well as a keynote luncheon on Monday where a panel of senior
journalists from such national publications as the Wall Street Journal will
identify trends that impact the entire industry. Professionals from companies
such as Intel Worldwide, RealNetworks, AT&T and IBM will lead various workshops
and information sessions.
