WHAT:     Jacksonville City Councilwoman Suzanne Jenkins and the
          Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will join Prudential
          executives George Fleck, Jim Avery and Melody McDaid to
          officially open Prudential's on-site back-up child care
          facility to employees. The opening ceremonies will also
          feature WJXT-TV's mascot Dino 4.

BACKGROUND:    Prudential, recently recognized as one of Working
          Mother magazine's top ten best companies for working
          mothers, provides resources and flexibility for employees to
          balance work and life demands. The on-site back up day care
          facility complement the two near-site full- and part-time
          facilities in New Jersey and the back- up day are facility
          based in Newark. Plans are also underway for an additional
          back-up facility in Ft. Washington, PA, Phoenix, AZ and
          Woodbridge, NJ.
