WHAT: Prudential Community Champions Award breakfast honoring
the outstanding volunteer efforts and accomplishments of
41 current and retired Prudential Financial employees in
the Delaware Valley Region, who were awarded $29,750 in
grants ranging between $250 and $5,000 for the
organizations to which they donated their time and
expertise.
WHO: 41 recipients of Prudential Financial's 11th annual
Community Champions program, along with representatives
from each of the organizations that received grants.
Two of the recipients received the top $5,000 "Golden
Star" award:
- Brian Jenkins, a special service representative for
Prudential Annuities for his commitment to the Chosen
300 Ministries, Inc.
- Patricia Pearce, a regional compliance manager for
her volunteer efforts to the Elmwood Park Zoo.
GUEST SPEAKERS:
- Arnold Johnson, director of Prudential Mutual Funds
& Annuities will speak on the importance of
volunteers to non-profits.
- Golden Star award winner, Patricia Pearce will speak
on her experience as a volunteer.
