ADVISORY/Proposition 5 to Highlight Key Bay Area Supporters; Labor, Environmentalists, Law Enforcement Leaders to Appear.

The Proposition 5 campaign has scheduled a media event for Thursday, Oct. 15 in San Francisco to highlight support from key coalition members including San Francisco District Attorney Terence Terence (Publius Terentius Afer) (tĕr`əns), b. c.185 or c.195 B.C., d. c.159 B.C., Roman writer of comedies, b. Carthage. As a boy he was a slave of Terentius Lucanus, a Roman senator, who brought him to Rome, educated him, and gave him his freedom. Hallinan, a number of labor unions and a prominent Bay Area environmental group.

These Proposition 5 supporters are concerned that the Nevada casino campaign is misleading voters by claiming broad support in these key constituencies when in fact more than 225,000 Californians have endorsed Proposition 5, including many unions, environmentalists and law enforcement officials. -0-
