Sony Electronics Sony Electronics Inc., headquartered in San Diego, Calif., is the largest component of Sony Corporation of America, the U.S. holding company for Sony's U.S.-based electronics and entertainment businesses.  introduced two digital photo printers that allow consumers to view, edit, archive and print images with greater ease and flexibility than ever before. The new DPP-SV77 digital photo printer with an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) A display technology that uses rod-shaped molecules (liquid crystals) that flow like liquid and bend light. Unenergized, the crystals direct light through two polarizing filters, allowing a natural background color to show.  display will be available in July for about $500. The DPP-SV88 digital photo printer with CD-R/RW archiving functionality will be available in October for about $800.
