The first phase of the initiative will include navigational aids for motorists at the airport.

The massive new public/private project will expand and link Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) programs across Southeast Michigan and help propel the region to national prominence as a center for transportation technology.

The event, hosted by the Intelligent Transportation Society of Michigan (ITS Michigan) will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Smith Terminal. Further details about the program will be revealed at that time.
