WHAT:     Press briefing and site tour.
          A plan to relocate the 400-year-old Pico Canyon oak
          tree in Santa Clarita, Calif. will be discussed by John
          Laing Homes and a panel of experts. A tour of the site where
          the tree will be transplanted will be offered.

WHEN:     Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002
          Noon

EXPERTS:  Arborists and oak tree specialists will be available for
          interviews. Representatives from John Laing Homes will also
          be available to answer questions.

WHERE:    On Pico Canyon Road at the construction trailers where
