Lewis was born in Los Angeles, California.
 and husband Steve Berra Steve Berra (born May 10, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri), is a skateboarder and aspiring actor. He lives in Burbank, California, and has been skateboarding since he was 13. At the age of 18, he turned pro for Blockhead Skateboards.  joined other celebrities and guests at the Gap Hi-Fi concert at the Quixote Studios in Los Angeles. The Hollywood event kicked off a series of concerts at which Gap is bringing the larger-than-life images from its fall ad campaign to the stage to celebrate music, individual expression and personal style. Concert performers included Nikka Costa, The Incredible Moses Leroy, DJ Spooky, Rob Swift and DJ Shortkut. Additional concerts will take place throughout September in London, Paris and Tokyo.
