assisted in Boston's winning bid for the 2004 Democratic
National Convention.
What: To celebrate Boston's selection as the location for
the 2004 Democratic National Convention. The
Convention, which will be held the week of July 26,
2004, will create an estimated 5,000 jobs and draw
50,000 delegates, journalists and visitors to the
City of Boston.
