      WHAT: Legendary actor, director and author William Shatner is
          slated to appear in Sam Goody Central at Mall of America on
          Saturday, Feb. 16, where he will interact with fans and
          autograph copies of his DVD/video Mind Meld: Secrets Behind
          the Voyage of a Lifetime.

      ABOUT SHATNER: William Shatner, best known for his role as
                   "Captain Kirk" in television's Star Trek, has had a
                   tremendous career in film, television, theater and
                   commercials over the past five decades. Shatner is
                   also well known to fans for television roles on
                   programs such as "T.J. Hooker," "Rescue 911" and
                   "Third Rock From The Sun.;" from commercials as the
                   humorous spokesperson for Priceline.com; and from
                   recent films such as Miss Congeniality and Osmosis
                   Jones. Shatner is also a best-selling author, with
                   more than a dozen books including TekWars, Star
                   Trek Memories and Get A Life.

                     Shatner can also be seen in the upcoming films
                   Shoot or Be Shot, as well as Groom Lake, which he
                   directed and also co-wrote. Shatner will also be
                   re-launching his dramatically improved website

                   interacting with fans unlike any other sci-fi icon
